Below you will find information on the fees and charges applicable to the Credit Union’s products and services. A proportion of these fees are payable to third parties. The Credit Union’s policy is to adopt a system of rewarding members based on their level of commitment to the Credit Union.
How to minimise any fees and charges
Use these simple methods to minimise any fees or charges.
- Do your banking and lending with Hunter United so you maximise your reward rebate each month.
- Plan your withdrawal activity on your accounts.
- Avoid withdrawing small amounts frequently when a moderate amount would suffice for a longer period.
- Avoid using an ATM to only obtain your account balance.
- Withdraw cash when making an EFTPOS purchase.
- Use your Cuecard at Hunter United ATM’s.
- Use QuickCall Telephone Teller or our e-zynet Internet Banking Facility to obtain account balances, review recent transactions on any account and to transfer funds between accounts all without any charges.
- Instead of drawing cheques over the counter - use your own Hunter United personal cheque book.
- Use Hunter United’s Ezy Pay or B-Pay service to pay bills.
- Keep accurate records of your cheque account balance to prevent being overdrawn or having your cheque dishonoured. Use Telephone Teller or our Internet Banking facility to check your balance if in doubt.
- Retain statements received for future reference rather than requesting copies.
