Is the NPP safe?

The NPP uses world leading technology certified to the highest data security standards and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As always, we encourage our customers to remain alert to the possibility of scams and to contact us immediately if concerns arise. Our Osko payments will be subject to a real-time fraud screening process.

When will NPP be available?

The platform is on track to be available to a small number of financial institutions by the end of 2017. At this stage, we plan to launch early 2018 and will provide online updates to keep customers informed.

How do you actually use Osko by BPAYTM?

Osko by BPAYTM is a digital service that you will be able to access and use through our Internet Banking facility.

How secure is PayID?

This new addressing service (PayID) is safe and secure and certified to the highest data security capabilities.

How do I know if I have sent money to the right/wrong person?

Payee-validation functionality will allow you to see the name of the person or business you’re intending to send money to, so you know your payments are going where they should.

Can someone else register my details (mobile/email) as their PayID?

Only the authorised user of the mobile device can register it as a PayID, as it will require authentication in the form of a code sent to the phone number. Emails will also be sent to validate email PayID registrations.

What if I accidentally send money to the wrong person?

There are processes/procedures in place to deal with “Mistaken Payments”. If you have made a mistaken payment you need to call Hunter United immediately so we can take steps to recover the funds for you.
